In the context of monitoring international developments and market trends, with the aim of offering the best service to its customers, ADUS participated with its executives the leading global trade fair for the food and beverage industry ‘Anuga 2021’, which held from 9 to 13 October at the Koelnmesse Exhibition Center in Cologne, Germany.

The attendance of the exhibition was a point that troubled the exhibitors, especially at the beginning. This was influenced by two factors: One was the hybrid form of the event, and the second, the restrictions placed on visitors, who had to be vaccinated or with a disease certificate.

Despite the new data, the participation of exhibitors was significant; 4,600 exhibitors from 97 different countries while the visitors reached close to 170,000.

The Greek presence was very dynamic as the entries exceeded every previous year, with about 170 exhibitors.

In conclusion, the ‘crash test’ seems to have succeeded, passing the baton to other trade fairs abroad, as well as to the new forms of conferences and ‘megatrends’ focusing on sustainability.
