ADUS at the ‘Back-to-Business Dinner 2021’ of the British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce

The Keynote Speaker of the event was the new British Ambassador to Greece, Mr. Matthew Lodge. Among the speakers at the event were the Greek President of the British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, Ms. Anna Kalliani, the British President of the British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Kenny Evangelou, and the Guest of Honour, Minister of Development and Investments, Mr. Adonis Georgiadis.

The British Ambassador, Mr. Matthew Lodge, in his speech stated, among others: ’I am delighted to join the British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce for their “Back to Business” Dinner – especially as it is one of the first in-person events that have taken place since the pandemic. The strong support and optimism of the wide membership of the BHCC gives me great confidence for what we can do together as we work to strengthen the economic, commercial and investment ties between the United Kingdom and Greece. As recently-arrived British Ambassador, I can see lots of exciting potential for developing the relationship between our two countries – a relationship that not only has a long and positive history, but which also offers enormous possibilities for the future. I look forward to working with the BHCC, with the Greek Government and with the business community, to turn those possibilities into realities.’.

Representatives of the country’s political leadership, high-ranking executives of the most important Greek and multinational companies and Members of the BHCC were among the distinguished guests of the evening.
